                               Uniqlo

When discussing visual merchandising for retailers the first store that comes to my mind is UNIQLO. They produce wonderful window displays that represent popular colors and current trends. Uniqlo's displays are always consistent with innovative technology to show moving displays and LED lighting, showing off specific colors and fabrics of key items for the season. Uniqlo merchandises by style and collection so each product category and sub category are color coordinated.

                                   



The way this retailer merchandises its store is brilliant!  Their visual merchandising shapes the culture of their brand and has become a strategic competitive advantage against competitors. I always enjoy going into Uniqlo even if don't have the money to spend. The bright lights and colors creates an exciting fun atmosphere that keeps me in the store for hours. I would have to say that many retailers need to step up their visual merchandising to get in line with Uniqlo's because they are very much ahead of the game. You never know, maybe by 2018 they will have flying products within their stores!
